The fundamental purpose of occupational therapy is to help people do the things they want to do--their occupations!

For young children, this includes learning basic motor skills like rolling, crawling, and walking, developing language skills, both expressive and receptive, and becoming independent at self-help tasks like feeding and dressing.

At Progress Through Play, we use a parent-coaching, play-based model to promote development. The goal is to empower families to see opportunities in their everyday routines to incorporate developmental activities.
